Drago Pintarič, born in 1959, professor of history and sociology, pedagogue, mentor for media activities, with extensive experience in the field of journalism, as well as in leading projects in the fields of art, culture, and youth-related issues.

He is the founder and leader of the group Pozitiv and also the director of NGO ‘KUD Pozitiv’.He played a role of co-author and main coordinator in most of the projects of KUD Pozitiv and Ivan Cankar students home that were supported by the Ministry of Education of Slovenija, Ministry of Culture, City Municipaty of Ljubljana, EU programme Youth, Socrates, European Cultural Foundation etc.

Let us just mention few of the biggest projects among these:
- “Pozitiv – the study of the media with the emphasis on the pedagogical and creative expression, from 1997 to 2004;
- “Pozitiv against pozitHIV – a project focusing on the prevention of substance addiction among the young people, from 1997 to 2006;
- “Motion – the universal language” – a project of the international youth exchange, 2001;
- “No Man's Land”, project of the international youth exchange, concerning xenophobia, 2002;  www.dic.si/nomansland
- “Theater and Move”, a project of the international youth exchange, concerning diversity and  xenophobia, 2004; www.dic.si/tm
- “Students' home as an open space for a creative use of spare time and life-long learning” in years 2003 and 2004
- “Petrovaradin Tribe”, an experimental video workshop about the music festival EXIT in Novi Sad,  concerning diversity and  xenophobia, 2005; www.pozitiv.si/petrovaradintribe
 
He acted as a producer in number of often awarded theatre plays, dance and video productions that were realized in the framework of the listed or other projects.
